On the sidelines of the high-level week of UNGA80, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov had a meeting with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Vice-President of the European Commission Kaja Kallas.
During their discussions, both sides exchanged views on the current state of Azerbaijan–EU relations and explored opportunities for further development. Topics included the strengthening of political dialogue, expanding economic and trade cooperation, and enhancing joint efforts in key sectors such as energy, transportation, sustainable development, and humanitarian initiatives.
The sides also exchanged views on the regional situation and discussed ongoing peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
