Delegation of the Estonian Parliament visiting Azerbaijan - Updated

Chair of the Estonia-Azerbaijan Interparliamentary Cooperation Group Mr. Mihail Korb and member of the Group Mr. Denis Boroditch visited Azerbaijan. The visit was organised by the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Estonia.

September 26, 2016, the members of parliament met with the Head of the Azerbaijan-Estonia Interparliamentary Cooperation Group, Mr. Haji Salayev.

September 27, 2016, the delegation met with General Director of Baku International Sea Trade Port, Mr.Taleh Ziyadov and visited new Port of Baku at the Alat settlement.

Estonian members of the Parliament also met with the Chair of the “Azerbaijan Railways” LTD, Mr.Javid Gurbanov.    

September 28, 2016, Mr. Mihail Korb and Denis Boroditch were received by the Minister of Communication and High Technologies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, co-chair of the Intergovernmental Commission on Trade-Economic Cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Estonia,Mr. Ramin Guluzada.

September 30, 2016, the delegation was welcomed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Khalaf Khalafov in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

Current state of bilateral relations and future development perspectives were discussed during the meetings.

Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Estonia Mr.Murad Najafbayli and the chair of the Azerbaijan-Estonia Interparliamentary Cooperation Group, member of the Parliament (Milli Majlis) Mr. Haji Salayev participated in all the meetings during the visit of Estonian Parliamentarians.

During the visit the Estonian parliamentarians also took part in the V Baku International Humanitarian Forum.
